This was a sweet nothing of a story - like an m&m chocolate candy that is enjoyable, sweet but still not quite satisfying (that's why I end up eating most of the bag!) I think I've been spoiled by Rachel Burns' longer stories that this one seems a little fluffy. I do appreciate that the Sweet Daddy series features males that are compassionate human beings vs. some of the more reprehensible male characters in her other books. In this story a playboy falls in love at first sight....only to forget her completely bc his friends slipped him a drug in his drink. She's hurt that he forgot her so easily so when they do reconnect, he has to mend some fences and she has to be open to the idea that he wasn't being a jerk, that he genuinely forgot her. If this is your first time reading Rachel Burns, I'd recommend not starting here. My favorite stories still are the Have a Heart series, Pain and Regret (bc there is real growth and redemption) and the Callie series (but I've blocked out book 4 in my mind for all time, books 5 & 6 were great).Product details

I did not like this story as much as the other two but it was still a good story. It was written with lots of emotion and feeling. Learning about another tenant in the apartment and their relationship was great. I am looking forward to the next one.
